The lighting of the tree was a riot–special thanks to Tom Sullivan and Holly Firfer. These two are the greatest and made me feel at ease. In rehearsal it was obvious who were the TV people and who was in radio (“what? no prompter? gulp!”) Mostly it was fun to spend quality time with Holly, she is one of the nicest people I know. The crew from channel 11 was fantastic, thanks for inviting me to be a part the TV broadcast.
Earlier in the day we took Charlie to see Bolt, which was surprisingly adorable. It’s rare to see a kids movie that you actually enjoy too. Loved it!
I can’t bear to take him to Madagascar 2 (sorry, the first one was awful!) but with this cold weather lately we might not have a choice. My friend Bill gave me a copy of Wall-E for Charlie and I’m shocked that he is so into it. Every morning I hear him say “I want to watch Waaaaaalllleeeee, please????” and it’s fun to answer back “Eeeee-va”. Exciting stuff, right?

i dreaded having to go see madagascar 2 as well…but the kids drove me crazy and i gave in. it did kinda suck, but it was better than i thought. i was happy when it was over (unlike the toy story movies, which i’d see again and again). my kids loved it.
Ugh! The first one was soooo bad!! I guess I’ll have to see that trash at some point.
