Is everywhere this week! In honor of the new release Working On A Dream we’ll play an hour’s worth of Springsteen music for Tuesday’s Radio Free Lunch. Plus, I’ll have a very special announcement at noon
that ties in with all of this. Also, what songs do you think he’ll play at the Super Bowl? People are already taking bets on this on this!! My guess would be Working On A Dream, Glory Days, Rosalita and Born To Run. Trying to predict this may be more fun than predicting the score of the game!!
Update: Today’s Playlist
Thunder Road
Radio Nowhere
Trapped
The Wrestler
Brilliant Disguise
Old Dan Tucker
Badlands
McDonald’s Daily Cheese
Born in East LA, Cheech Marin
Rosalita
Born to Run
The River

One obvious choice for Radio Free Lunch:
Radio Nowhere.
Also, Factory, From Darkness on the Edge of Town:
“Man takes his lunch….”

So many great Springsteen cuts, so maybe some cheese instead. “Waitin’ on a Sunny Day” or “Queen of the Supermarket” (Haven’t heard it yet, but just the name.

What up Mara and Elizabeth?!?!? How about Glory Days – a nice song to take you back to the days when you rolled your jeans, summers full of mischeif and the Rubiks Cube.
As always – “Mara Davis…you’re my hero”! A sideways quote from a great movie from that time as well.

I can’t believe I missed half of today’s show! An all Bruce hour is perfection. I don’t know if they have been played already, but I adore No Surrender, Promised Land, and Badlands.

I requested “Atlantic City” on the phone earlier, and I expect to hear it!!!!
Bruce was my first concert when i was in 9th grade in 2002 i went to the Rising Tour at the Gwinnett arena. I have been to many concerts since but have never felt the energy such as that at a Bruce show. I encourage everyone to see him, atleast once.
