It’s All Good

My guest today is Alton Brown from the Food Network.  He’s in to promote the 10th anniversary of “Good Eats” which is being filmed here next month (we’ll have tickets to give away).  The interview is at 11ish and for Radio Free Lunch at noon we’ll play “good” songs—as in all songs that mention good.  ”Good People”, “A Change Would Do You Good” or “It’s Good To Be King” will work.

was listening to the alton brown interview and your producer wanted to know about ina garten’s husband. the reason he only comes home on weekends is because he is a professor at the yale school of management. a lot of people in the hamptons only live there part time, like kelly ripa only goes on the weekends. she originally worked for the white house writing energy papers and she and jeffrey were driving through the hamptons one weekend and saw the store “barefoot contessa” for sale, put in an offer on the spot and the rest as they say is history.

  14. Tommy A

I Feel Good – James Brown

  15. Mary

    Happy Birthday!

    “Good Stuff” B-52s

    Thanks !

  16. Daniel

Every show I fall more and more in love with you, Mara.

How about something a bit off your usual playlist: “Buena” by Morphine.

  17. Thor

Hey Mara, Johnny Be Good would be great, others i can think of Good Morning Little Schoo Girl, or free falling(she’s a good girl…)

  18. Richard

Please play the new Bob Dylan song “It’s All Good”!!!
It’s one of the best songs on the album, Together Through Life.

  19. Adam

    How about these?
Good Riddance(time of your life)- Green Day
    Good Company- Queen

  20. Gene

I’m late to the game, but man would I love to go see Alton Brown! I watch “Good Eats” whenever I can and I’ve never failed to impress with one of his recipies (the No BBQ Backyard Ribs are now a family fav).
Since I am late, I thought I’d send in a GOODbye title:

“Goodbye, Travel Well” by The Killers.

    Thanks!

    Gene
